Good questions
How is droëwors different from jerky?
Droëwors is a traditional South African air-dried beef sausage: beef seasoned with coriander and spices, filled into sheep casing and air-dried. Jerky is usually cooked with heat and often sweetened. Droëwors is never cooked.
Why is there a "High in Sodium" symbol?
Salt is part of the traditional cure, and a big part of what makes this snack what it is. Each 57 g pouch has 700 mg of sodium, which is over Health Canada's threshold for the front-of-pack symbol, so we show it clearly.
How should I store it? How long does it last?
Unopened, it's shelf-stable: check the best before date on the pack. After opening, seal and refrigerate, and enjoy within 5 days.
Where's the beef from?
Goodstock is a Product of U.S.A., made with grass-fed beef. We're Canadian owned & operated, bringing a South African tradition to Canadian pantries.
